A choice for our children...
Alot of parents are choosing to home school for one reason or another, be it spiritual or academic....We, as parents, are deciding to take control of our children's educational
and social environments...
I have found myself feeling the need to defend my choice to home school my children for sometime now. This page is for those of you who are interested in homeschool , or who are already homeschooling and are looking for resourses....
As a Home Schooling parent I have found that sometimes the local schools are not supportive of my choice. Therefore I have had to come by alot of
information on my own. If you can get the support of your school system
it makes homeschooling much more pleasant. In Oregon our law provides
home schoolers the privilage of participating in some of the extracurricular
activites.. music, band, sports, dances, and field trips. This is beneficial
for some who are finding it difficult to have a balance in their schedules.
